Modern Theatre Dance is a highly energetic and rhythmical dance style which originated in America before traveling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical theatre productions and is known for its technical qualities such as: Kicks, Leaps and Turns. A modern dancer needs to develop control, strength and flexibility which in turn become the foundations of Jazz and Musical Theatre dance. At SLP we train our pupils to gain this expertise from pre-primary (*Peter Pan Starlets*) to Advanced 2 level.
